- Synopsis Of Work This project is located at the Donohue Federal Building, 595 Main Street, Worcester, MA. The project is to provide all labor, supervision, materials, equipment, planning, quality control, and other services required to paint all walls and door trim and to furnish and install carpet tiles in the 1 St floor USMS office area. Pre-Bid Site Visit : All potential bidders are encouraged to attend the pre-bid site visit. Visit is tentatively scheduled for 31 OCT 2019 at 10:00 AM. Scope of Work: •1. Provide and utilize necessary means to protect Government property prior to any demo work. •2. Move any and all property necessary to complete work specified below. •3. All metal doors and door frames to be painted with one prime and one finish coat of color to be selected after award. •4. All walls[ approx. 6000 sqft ] to be painted shall be prepared to receive one prime and two finish coats of paint color to be selected after award. Patching, filling and sanding of damaged wall areas are part of this contract. •5. Demo/recycle existing carpet. •6. Install approximately 305 square yards of 26 ounce carpet tiles. Style to be selected prior to award. Prep the floor in accordance with the carpet manufacturer's instruction. Install the carpet tile with manufacturer's recommended carpet tile adhesive, floor sealer, and floor repair compound. •9. Demo/recycle existing vinyl floor tiles. •10. Install approximately 275 square feet of 12 x 12 inch vinyl floor tiles. Style to be selected prior to award. •11. Demo/recycle existing gym flooring. •12. Install approximately 575 square feet of gym floor tiles. Style to be selected prior to award. Demo/recycle existing vinyl cove base in the 1 St floor USMS space. •14. Provide and install approximately 550 linear feet of new 6" vinyl cove base in areas where existing cove base was demoed. Color to be selected after award. Furnish and install black transition strips where needed or required to ensure a smooth transition between differing floor materials. •16. Contractor is responsible for daily site cleanup throughout the duration of the project. •17. Arrange all scheduling with GSA.
