- THE PURPOSE OF THIS AMENDMENT IS TO EXTEND THE QUOTE DEADLINE UNTIL 16 OCTOBER 2019. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial supplies prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 and FAR Subpart 13.5, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the solicitation only; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will NOT be issued. This is a Request for Quote (RFQ) and the solicitation number for this requirement is FA9101-19-Q-0064. The North American Industry Classification System code (NAICS) is 333912, with a Small Business Size Standard of 1000 employees, PSC: 4310. A firm-fixed price purchase order will be issued. DESCRIPTION: The Contractor shall supply all equipment, labor, materials, and transportation necessary to fabricate, machine, clean, inspect, and deliver to AEDC two (2) complete sets of stator blades (1,398), nuts (1,398), and washers (5,592) in accordance with the drawings listed in paragraph 2.1.1, this specification, and the purchase order. Final acceptance testing of the blades will be by the Government at AEDC. See attached Statement of Work and RFQ Response Requirements SET-ASIDE: This acquisition will utilize full and open competition.
