36C24419Q1205 A00001 It is hereby determined necessary and in the best interest of the Government to issue and amendment to the previously issued combined synopsis solicitation, 36C24419Q1205. The purpose of this amendment is to provide responses to questions received and provide clarification on the delivery timeline. The following questions and answers are a summary of the questions received and answers provided to interested vendors who have contacted the Contracting Officers. Q. Is a tanker trailer acceptable to make deliveries? Yes, a tanker trailer is acceptable for deliveries. Q. Will a Bill of Lading be acceptable in lieu of a metered ticket? Yes, a Bill of Lading for each truck load of fuel delivered may be provided in lieu of metered tickets. Q. Is this a one time delivery of fuel? Yes, this is a one time delivery of fuel that will need to be spread over several days from Tuesday, October 1, 2019 through October 4, 2019. Delivery Clarifications: Delivery of the fuel may begin as early as Tuesday, October 1, 2019. On October 1, 2019 the facility will be able to accept up to two 7500 gallon loads to fuel into the first underground tank. Following the delivery on October 1st, VA will coordinate with the vendor to deliver the remainder of the fuel on either Thursday, October 3, 2019 or Friday, October 4, 2019. The due date and time for quotes remains unchanged at 4:00 pm on Friday, September 27, 2019. All quotes must be sent to both Debra.Willard@va.gov and Caroline.Robinette@va.gov. All other terms and conditions set forth within the combined synopsis solicitation remain unchanged and in full force.
