Description

Notice of Intent to Sole Source Requirement Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 10, Indianapolis VA Medical Center, Indianapolis, IN, intends to negotiate a limited source contract under FAR (FAR 8.405-6 (a)(1)(i)(B)), Only One Responsible Source for the supplies listed below. The associated NAICS code for this is 339112. The vendor will be ABIOMED, Inc., 22 Cherry Hill Drive, Danvers, MA 01923. Description of Equipment or Supplies: 20 Each, Impella CP Pump Set, US 0048-0003 A firm fixed price contract with no option years is anticipated and shall be awarded. It is the Government's belief that only the proposed candidate possesses the required capabilities to successfully meet this requirement. It is the Government's intention to solicit and negotiate with only this source. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. It is not a solicitation or request for offers. No solicitation package is available. A determination not to compete is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Responses must be received no later than 10:00am EST on 10/01/2019. All responses must be emailed to my attention at Amanda.Reid1@va.gov by 10:00am EST on 10/01/2019.
