Description
BID SCHEDULE AMENDMENT 0001 The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Memphis District has the requirement for Various Sized Stone to be delivered by Contractor Furnished Barges at specified locations and along the Mississippi River. The solicitation number is W912EQ19B0004 and is being issued as an Invitation for Bid (IFB). This is a 100% SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE procurement. The associated NAICS code is 212319 size standard shall not exceed 500 employees. A copy of solicitation may be downloaded from https://www.fbo.gov on or about August 28, 2019. Contractor shall furnish all material necessary to deliver crushed stone of various sizes, per each delivery order, loaded on Contractor furnished barges. The work will be performed on the Mississippi River from River Mile 953.8 to River Mile 0.0, on the Atchafalaya River between River Mile 0.0 and River Mile 125.0, and on tributaries of the Mississippi River, as identified in the specified delivery order(s). All mileage will be the mileage's shown in the latest edition of the Flood Control and Navigation Maps of the Mississippi River, which is prepared under the direction of the President, Mississippi River Commission, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, P.O. Box 80, Vicksburg, MS 39180. It is anticipated that the majority of the stone will be ordered between 1 July and 30 November and/or as stated in the pricing schedule. Faxed or Electronic bids will NOT be allowed. All documents required for the bid submittal, including amendments to the bid submittal, shall be included. The Invitation for Bid issue date will be on August 28, 2019. The date and time for receipt of bids will be on or about October 22, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. Central Stand Time (local time). It is the offeror's responsibility to ensure receipt of bid by bid opening date. Bids should be mailed or hand delivered, marked with solicitation number W912EQ19B0004; addressed to USACE Memphis District, Contracting Division, ATTN: Valerie Marshall, 167 N. Main St., Room 665, Memphis, Tennessee, 38103; Phone (901) 544-3619. For the purpose of this procurement, to qualify as a small business, in addition to being independently owned and operated and not dominant in the field of operation in which it is bidding on Government contracts, the number of employees of a concern and its affiliates must not exceed 500.
