- Notice of Intent to Sole Source Solicitation Number: 36E77619Q0134 The Department of Veteran Affairs, Program Contracting Activity Central (PCAC) intends to solicit and negotiate directly with Venergy Group, 2552 Peters Road Ste. A, Fort Pierce, FL 34945, for the procurement of legionella testing within the Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN) 6 facilities under the authority of 38 U.S.C. § 8127 ©, Veterans First Contracting Program, as implemented by FAR 6.302-5, Authorized or required by statute. Venergy is verified as a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business in the Vendor Information Pages. DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENT: The purpose of this contract is to provide water testing services for VISN 6 in accordance with Directive 1061 Water Sampling Requirements which addresses the prevention of healthcare-associated Legionella Disease and Scald Injury from Potable Water Distribution Systems in VHA buildings. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A SOLICITATION, REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL OR A REQUEST FOR QUOTATION. A solicitation package will NOT be issued. Requests for copies of a solicitation in response to this notice will not be honored or acknowledged. Information received in response to this notice will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether conducting a competitive procurement in the future is in the best interest of the Government. All information submitted should support the offeror's capability to provide the services required, and shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government. Responses must be in writing and must provide clear and concise documentation indicating an offeror's capability to provide these services. Verbal responses are not acceptable and will not be considered. Responses and questions shall be received via email to Kathleen.klotzbach@va.gov within three (3) business days of this posting.
