- NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT W91ZLK-19-P-0148 This is a NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT using Federal Acquisition Regulation FAR Part 13.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. This will be an acquisition under the authority of the test program for commercial items section 4202 of the Clinger-Cohen Act of 1996. The US Army- Army Contracting Command - Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG) Tenant Division 6001 Combat Drive Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD 21005-1846 has an emergency requirement to procure the following service: CLIN 0001: Base year Spectrometer Gas Analyzer Systems CLIN 1001: Option Year One Spectrometer Gas Analyzer Systems CLIN 2001: Option Year Two Spectrometer Gas Analyzer Systems The Government intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price sole source contract to Midac Corporation 6 Coleman Ave, Westfield, MA 01085; CAGE Code 0ERE1, in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(ii) soliciting from single source, The associated North America Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 811310 and the Size standards in number of dollars $7,500,000.00. All responses received within ten (10) calendar days after date of publication of this notice will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement no later than 2:00 PM Eastern Time, Tuesday, October 4th, 2019. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government in future procurements.
