Description
Draft SOW Historical Demand Draft Kit Inventory This is a Sources Sought Synopsis, for market research purposes only, and is not a Request for Quote (RFQ). The Department of State's European Logistics Support Office is seeking potential sources that are capable of providing Hospitality or "Welcome Kits" under the terms of a Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity Requirements contract that contain the brand name or equal of the items in the kit inventory and can meet the required delivery terms of 30 days FOB origin. This proposed contract contemplates order volumes up to 2500 kits annually for a base and 4 year option contract. All interested vendors should consider submitting a response demonstrating their capabilities to provide the required Welcome Kits to the primary point of contact listed below. Should your firm be interested in this requirement, please submit your company's capability package in no more than 10 pages. As stipulated in FAR 15.201, responses to this notice are not considered offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. No solicitation exists; therefore, do not request a copy of the solicitation. The decision to solicit for a contract shall be solely within the Government's discretion. NAICS Code to be used for this acquisition is 423220 with a size standard of 100 employees. Any information submitted by respondents to this sources sought synopsis is voluntary. This sources sought notice is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, nor will the Government reimburse any costs associated with the submission of information in response to this notice. Respondents will not individually be notified of the results of any government assessments. The Government's evaluation of the capability statements received will factor into any set-aside decision and proposed evaluation criteria and terms and conditions of any subsequently issued soliciation. Capabilities package: All interested firms shall submit a capabilities package that explicitly demonstrates company capabilities-indicating examples of products that could be provided and specifications related to this effort. The capabilities package should include at a minimum: 1. Company Name and Address 2. Point of Contact Name, Phone Number and Email Address 3. A website address that provides additional information about the prospective business 4. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this effort is code 423220 with a size standard of 100 employees. Identify your company size as: Small, Small disadvantaged, 8a, Woman-owned Small Business (WOSB), Economically Disadvantaged Woman-owned Small Business (EDWOSB), Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB), Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), and/or HUB Zone Business (HBCU/MI) in accordance with this NAICS code. 5. Provide any applicable affiliate information (e.g. potential joint venture or teaming partners, etc.) Questions 1. Does your firm have any experience producing a comparable kit on the scale contemplated under this proposed contract? 2. Does your firm have any experience sourcing and providing 220V items for use overseas? 3. Under the proposed contract, orders up to 2500 kits are contemplated with an expected delivery term of 30 days FOB origin. Does your firm have existing capability to support orders of that size? 4. To help the Government improve this acquisition please provide any feedback on the draft statement of work or any information contained herein. 5. Any other information deemed necessary.
