- Sources Sought Notice Identification Number: W9128F19SM012 This is a Sources Sought Notice and is for market research purposes only. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL, QUOTATION OR BID. NO SOLICITATION IS CURRENTLY AVAILABLE. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Omaha District is conducting market research to identify sources (Small Businesses and Other-than-Small Businesses) that can provide the Brand Name or equal for one or more of the following items. 1. Direct Digital Control (DDC), Energy Management Control System (EMCS) and Java Application Control Engine (JACE) systems: Johnson Controls. Any like item must seamlessly integrate with the existing Johnson Controls with Building Automation and Control Network (BACnet) and must have Department of Defense (DoD) Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP) approval for this industrial controls system proposed. 2. Mass Notification Equipment: Whelen. This system will be part of a larger existing network of Whelen Systems. Any proposed equal item must seamlessly integrate with Whelen System with no system capability degradation. Any proposed system must also include the full functionality and capabilities as provided with the Whelen System. 3. Fire Alarm Equipment: Monaco Fire Alarm System. This system will be part of a larger existing network of multiple Monaco Fire Alarm Systems. Any proposed equal item must seamlessly integrate with Monaco Fire Alarm System with no system capability degradation. Any proposed system must also include the full functionality and capabilities as provided with the Monaco Fire Alarm System. All responses must include in detail which system or systems were used in previous projects that successfully integrated with the systems identified above. Responses are to be sent via email to william.t.rawe@usace.army.mil no later than 11:59 p.m. MST, 30 September 2019. Please include the Sources Sought Notice Identification Number in the Subject line of the email submission. Submission Details: All interested, capable, qualified and responsive contractors are encouraged to reply to this market survey request. Interested contractors should submit a narrative demonstrating their experience with the installation of the system named above. Narratives shall be no longer than 10 pages. Email responses are required. Please include the following information in your response/narrative: • Company name, address, cage code, and point of contact, with (h)er/is phone number and email address • Business size to include any official teaming arrangements as a partnership or joint venture • Details of similar projects and state whether you were the Prime or Subcontractor • Start and end dates of the work • Project references (including owner with phone number and email address) • Project cost, term and complexity of job Comments will be shared with the Government and the project management team, but otherwise will be held in strict confidence.
