Description
The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Land and Maritime intends to award a sole source, short-term bridge contract for the Advanced Microcircuit Emulation (AME) program to SRI International, Inc. (CAGE 03652), currently set to expire on November 13, 2019. This will be a maximum four hundred and forty five (445) day, requirements type contract (RTC) on a cost plus fixed fee (CPFF) basis. (1) The contractor will be required to support in accordance with the existing AME Program Statement of Work to support non-procurable Federal Stock Class (FSC) 5962 microcircuits and their directly related engineering services for placement and utilization on electronic assemblies. (2) Duration of the contract period: Maximum of four hundred and forty five (445) days, comprised of a one hundred and eighty two (182) day base period with a two hundred and sixty three (263) day option period. (3) The Government intends to solicit from only SRI International, Inc., as identified above. (4) This proposed action will be processed in accordance with FAR 6.302-1. The Justification and Approval (J&A) will be posted as required once the action is awarded. (5) All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation in response to this notice, which shall be considered by the agency. Any responses shall be submitted to charles.underwood@dla.mil by 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time on October 4, 2019. (7) In accordance with FAR 5.102(e), upon request within the specified response period, the Contracting Officer will provide copies of the solicitation to firms requesting it that were not originally solicited (i.e. not the abovereferenced sole source).
