Description

The Purpose of this modification is to: Publish questions and answers Questions and Answers - 36C24119Q0556 Filter preventative maintenance and filter changes on HV s, HVACS and Smoke Shacks VAMC Bedford, MA Q: Is a supervisor, with 30-hour OSHA, required to be on-site or accompany subs during all work? A: Due to the nature of the contract, a 30-hr OSHA trained supervisor is not required to carry out the tasks. Q: Will we expect to encounter any hazardous materials or bio-hazards while executing these tasks? A: It is not expected that the contractor will encounter hazardous materials while carrying out the tasks on the contract. If the contractor finds questionable materials during the contract, the VA will test the material and make the required remediation efforts. Q: Is this bid a SDVOSB only? A: Yes, please reference solicitation 36C241-19-Q-0556. Q: On building 4 Attic units there are 12" rigid filters that normally are changed every 12  months, not quarterly.  Should this stay as quarterly service? A: The 12 rigid filters as described above shall be changed annually as opposed to quarterly
