- JOTFOC CLAUSES The United States Coast Guard, Surface Forces Logistics Centers, LRE Product Line, Oakland, CA anticipates awarding sole source procurement to MTU America Inc for the following supplies: Engine block rotating tool kit P/N: 584-1163RTN-TLN MTU America Inc is the OEM for this item. The original manufacturer of the referenced items and maintains the proprietary rights, which makes them the sole source. The OEM has limited the availability of proprietary information. This procurement will be made on behalf of the USCGC Bertholf. Vendor will provide all the parts listed above. NAICS Code # 333618 applies to this procurement. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. No solicitation will be issued, however all responses received on/before 0800 PST September 20, 2019 will be reviewed by the Government. A determination not to compete this proposed contract based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. All questions concerning this notice must be submitted in writing the Contracting Officer, email address is: Megan.L.Carter@uscg.mil The solicitation is restricted to: MTU America Inc Offers from concerns other than the above are not solicited. If no affirmative responses are received by the date specified above to determine whether a qualified source is more advantageous to the Government, a purchase order will be negotiated and awarded to MTU America INC.
