- Description
- J&A Southwest Regional Maintenance Center (SWRMC) Code 410B Procurement intends to award a Sole Source contract to KAMPI Components Co. Inc. to provide repair parts for the Forced Draft Blower in support of the USS BOXER (LHD-4). The requirement will be processed in accordance with FAR part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 333611, and the business size standard is 1,500. Kampi Components is the only authorized distributor to the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), ELLIOT Group. These parts will be replacing existing equipment, therefore they need to be an exact match. There is no other manufacturer to provide similar supplies. This special notice of intent is neither a request nor a solicitation of offers; however, all information received within 15 days after date of publication of this special notice will be reviewed by the Government for future considerations. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether conducting a competitive procurement is in the best interest of the Government. Responses must provide clean and concise documentation indicating a vendor's bona fide capability to provide this product or equivalency. Requests must include company name, address, telephone number of the requester, e-mail address, CAGE code and business size. No reimbursement for any cost connected with providing capability information will be provided. All information should be delivered via e-mail to cynthia.valdez@navy.mil, no later than 0900 AM PDT, September 27, 2019. Information delivered by other than e-mail will not be accepted. Certifications in the System for Acquisition Management (https://sam.gov) must be current and active to be eligible for contract award.
