Description

Manufacturer: Olympus brand name only (FAR 8.405-6(a)(1)(i)(B) All microscopes currently used by pathologists at this medical center are Olympus models. Standardization to one brand and style of microscope assures uniformity of imaging quality, required for achieving high standards of accuracy in diagnostic pathology. Standardization also allows for interchangeability of parts as needed to maintain full functionality of each microscope. This is a Microscope requirement for the WASHINGTON DC VA Health Care System, Lab services. The Washington DC VA Medical Center requires the contractor to deliver the Microscope and accessories within 30 days from contract award.
