This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. A firm-fixed price purchase order is anticipated. Vendor shall provide V-Pro Max single door cabinet 208-230V on the agreed upon Date of Delivery. Lebanon facility will have all required drains, electric, steam and build-around equipment ready for the installation of the low temperature sterilizer. Vendor will uncrate said equipment and move to final location in Sterile Processing Service (SPS) department. Once equipment is in the SPS, vendor installation team will connect everything and verify proper operation of the equipment. Background: The Lebanon VA Medical Center has an urgent need to replace its low temperature sterilizer due to ongoing system failures and need for large capacity, fully functioning sterilizer to maintain the increasing needs within SPS. Lebanon VAMC will be opening a new SPS area and the equipment purchased must be compatible to the items already procured per the contract award. Requesting equipment systems by STERIS to ensure quick delivery. The new sterilizers are compatible with current controls already set up and in use. Steris Corporation is the only manufacturer that can provide the identical controls as the current models presently in use. This ensures standardization for safe operation while providing patients with optimal services. Other manufacturers sterilizers do not match in controls and they are not compatible with the current carts and racks. A Steris sterilizer cannot use another manufacturer s rack and or vice versa. Sterilizers are validated as required by the FDA based on each manufacturer using their own cart and rack. The demands from SPS are throughout the facility and VA Community Clinics. The ability to provide patient care deeply depends on the ability to obtain this unit expeditiously. Performance Period: Delivery shall occur with all required site preparations by facility are ready for equipment installation. This includes steam, air, water, exhaust, waste, electric, and atmospheric vent. Type of Contract: Firm Fixed Price Delivery Order General Requirement: Larger Capacity Low Temperature Sterilizer Salient Characteristics: Must have usable chamber volume size of 136L Must be able to process up to 50 pounds in non-lumen cycle Must have hydrogen peroxide concentration down to 59% Must be able to process single, dual, and triple lumen flexible scopes Must be able to process up to 20 lumens per load Other Characteristics: Must be Steris V-Pro Max to allow for a fully functional, streamlined sterilization process. Delivery: Contractor shall provide delivery and installation of Larger Capacity Low Temperature Sterilizer with chamber volume size 136L to the Lebanon VA Medical Center located at 1700 S. Lincoln Ave, Lebanon PA 17042. Delivery to the facility s specific locations and installation shall be coordinated in advance with the Contracting Officer s Representative. Nominated COR: Lisa Quaglieri NOTE: The COR has no authority to change the terms and conditions of the awarded contract. Warranty: One-year service warranty. (JAN 2008) 852-219-10 VA Notice of Total Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business Set-Aside (a) Gray market items are Original Equipment Manufacturer s (OEM) goods sold through unauthorized channels in direct competition with authorized distributors. This procurement is for new OEM medical supplies, medical equipment and/or services contracts for maintenance of medical equipment (i.e. replacement parts) for VA Medical Centers.   No remanufactures or gray market items will be acceptable.   (b) Vendor shall be an OEM, authorized dealer, authorized distributor or authorized reseller for the proposed medical supplies, medical equipment and/or services contracts for maintenance of medical equipment (i.e. replacement parts), verified by an authorization letter or other documents from the OEM, such that the OEM s warranty and service are provided and maintained by the OEM.   All software licensing, warranty and service associated with the medical supplies, medical equipment and/or services contracts for maintenance of medical equipment shall be in accordance with the OEM terms and conditions. (c) The delivery of gray market items to the VA in the fulfillment of an order/award constitutes a breach of contract.   Accordingly, the VA reserves the right enforce any of its contractual remedies. This includes termination of the contract or, solely at the VA s election, allowing the Vendor to  replace, at no cost to the Government, any remanufactured or gray market item(s) delivered to a VA medical facility upon discovery of such items.   (ix) METHOD OF AWARD The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government. Price will be the only evaluated factor. Award may be made without discussions.
