Description
Single Source Notice - The Federal Aviation Administration ™s (FAA) has a requirement for one (1) Rockwell Collins Global Landing Unit (GLU-2100) Multi-Mode Receiver (MMR), Software, and Maintenance Support. This equipment will be utilized at the William J. Hughes Technical Center in Atlantic City, New Jersey. In accordance with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Acquisition Management System (AMS) Policy Section 3.2.2.4, the purpose of this announcement is to inform industry of the basis for the FAA's decision to contract on a single source basis with Rockwell Collins, based in Cedar Rapids IA. The FAA has a requirement to procure one (1) Rockwell Collins Global Landing Unit (GLU-2100) Multi-Mode Receiver (MMR), Software, and Maintenance Support used by the Satellite Navigation Branch Lab (ANG-E66) at the William J. Hughes Technical Center in Atlantic City, New Jersey (WJHTC). Rockwell Collins is the only known firm capable of meeting the FAA ™s specific requirement. Accordingly, a competitive solicitation is not available for this procurement. The FAA is not seeking or accepting unsolicited proposals. The FAA is not liable for any costs associated with the preparing of a response to this announcement.
