- Description
- Specification for AAM1000. Specification for ARM1000. Notice of intent to award sole source: The U.S. Army Contracting Command-Redstone Arsenal intends to issue a sole source, firm fixed price contract for one (1) DT-236A Radwatch Autobadger Re-Assembly with two (2) parts: Aquila ARM 1000 and Aquila AAM 1000 manufactured by Aquila Technologies, Inc. to the original equipment manufacturer, Aquila Technologies, Inc., 8401 Washington Place, NE, Albuquerque, NM 87113, (Cage Code: 0C1G3). The Contractor shall provide one (1) DT-236A Radwatch Autobadger Re-Assembly with two (2) parts: Aquila ARM1000 and Aquila AAM 1000. This equipment allows customers to reduce the manual labor to reassemble DT-236As before sending them back to the field. Presently, when a customer receives a DT-236A from the field, personnel manually separates each slide from each watch at a "Receiving Station." The slides are then manually loaded into a cassette that the Automatic Highly Capacity Optically Stimulated Luminescence (OSL) Readers use as input. Presently, the slides are inserted back into the empty dosimeter shells manually after the dose from them has been read. The ARM1000 inserts the slides back into the watch shells automatically. The Aquila AAM1000 is an ID reassignment machine to use after the OSL and FNTD reads, but before the watches are reassembled. The reassignment machine will accept a slide cassette as an INPUT stream. Automatic High Capacity OSL Readers use as input. The period of performance for the contract will be 120 days after receipt of order, or as otherwise determined by the Contracting Officer. All interested responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be given due consideration by this agency. The statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition for this action is 10 U.S.C. 2304(g)(1)(A) as implemented in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(b)(1). Notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. However, all quotes received within three after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. This synopsis shall not bind the Government and is for information purposes only. All formal communication related to this action should be directed to the point of contact: Breanna Free (email: breanna.r.free.civ@mail.mil ).
