Description
Statement of work for the T-Sheets Paper Charting System This notice of intent is not a request for quotes and no solicitation is available. A determination not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The 633d Contracting Squadron at Langley AFB, VA hereby gives a notice of intent to award this acquisition as a sole source award to T-System, Inc. 4020 McEwen Ste 200, Dallas, TX 75244 for the purchase of Emergency Medicine Paper Charting System. T-System offers a complete, standalone provider and nursing computerized Emergency Department medical record also known as T-sheets, Emergency Department discharge and education program, and Emergency Department patient tracking program for Joint Base Langley-Eutis (JBLE). T-system T-Sheets is a template based documentation system for encounters with emergency department patients. T-sheets are used to document episodic medical care in the emergency department as part of the patient's medical record. The T-sheets are essential in maintaining records as part of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996. They are also necessary as part of the coding process to ensure medical coders can translate care into relative value units, thus recouping funds through insurance billing. Lastly, they serve as a source of documentation to organize and guide emergency room visits such that staff can visualize a chronological sequence of care provided. The government intends to execute a sole source procurement under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b). This will be a firm-fixed price contract. If there are any other businesses that can provide the specified services, they must respond to this notice before Thursday, 12 September 2019, at 4:00pm Eastern Standard Time (EST). If no responses are received by the above referenced date/time a sole source contract will be awarded to T-System, Inc. Contract award is subject to the availability of funds. Points of contact for this synopsis are as follows: Byron Faison, e-mail byron.faison@us.af.mil, Phone: (757)-764-3341. Please use this contact information for any questions.
