Description

The Government intends to negotiate with and issue a sole source contract to GE Health Solutions to provide all labor, parts, packaging, transportation, supervision, insurance, and any other activities and materials necessary to perform the following services: - Prepare and transport a Government-owned, GE-manufactured Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) unit, within a trailer and including all accessories, from Fort Richardson, Alaska to JBSA Fort Sam Houston, Texas. - Upon installation at JBSA Fort Sam Houston, Texas, perform all inspections and make all repairs necessary to bring the MRI (and trailer/accessories) into like-new condition. Repairs shall be warrantied for a minimum of six (6) months from date of acceptance by the Government. - Upon installation and completion of any repairs, provide on-site operator training at JBSA Fort Sam Houston, Texas for multiple personnel. Any entity that feels they are able to perform the above services in their entirety shall submit a capability statement demonstrating their experience to the POC listed herein. The capability statement shall include the vendor's name, a point-of-contact, and socioeconomic category(ies), if any. Capability statements shall be submitted at no cost to the Government. These capability statements are due to the POC listed herein no later than 16 September 2019, 4:00pm CDT. In the event no capability statements are received, or any that are received do not demonstrate sufficient experience such that the Government is satified in the submitter's ability to successfully perform these services, a sole source contract will be issued after 17 September 2019, 4:00pm CDT.
