- The purpose of this FBO posting is for informational purposes. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 10, VA Healthcare System and Chillicothe VA Medical Center, 17273 State Route 104, Chillicothe, OH 45601-9718 has determined that it is in the best interest of the government to award to Alere Informatics, Inc. They are located at 2000 Holiday Drive, Suite 500, Charlottesville, VA 22901. This is a sole source procurement per there only being one source per FAR 13.106-1; The contractor has proprietary rights being the sole supplier of RALS System. Alere Informatics, Inc. exclusively sells and provides RALS System. Manufacturer does not have any authorized vendors or field technicians to provide competition. Services will be performed to Alere Clinitek Analyzer services. Connect Clinitek Status+ point-of-care meters to current and existing RALS software through purchase of the Alere Clinitek Connect Module. This module provides an interface between the Clinitek Status+ point-of-care analyzer and the Laboratory Information System through HL7 messaging and includes download site licensing for six (6) Clinitek Status+ analyzers. Award will be processed for base plus four one -year option periods. It will cover timespan date of award for the following: Base: 09/30/19 09/29/20; Option Year One: 09/30/20 09/29/21; Option Year Two: 09/30/21 09/29/22; Option Year Three: 09/30/22 09/29/23; and Option Year Four: 09/30/23 09/29/24; If any concerns arise please send inquiry to Lisa.Clark3@va.gov or call (614) 257-5976.
