Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA) currently intends to solicit a single source and award a contract to provide Reagents (Cost-Per-Test) for a Biogenex Lab Automated Immunohistochemical Stainers. The intended source is currently: Biogenex Labs | 4600 Norris Canyon Road | San Ramon, CA 94583. The statutory authority for the sole source procurement is FAR 13.106(b) Soliciting from a single source and the anticipated award date is 1 Oct 2019 A firm-fixed priced purchase order is anticipated. The order may be a base plus option procurement with installation. RESPONSES ARE HIGHLY ENCOURAGED All responses to this notice must be in writing and include the Notice # 36C24719Q1070_1 in the subject line. Additionally, responses must also include: Name of the firm, point of contact, phone number, email address, DUNS number, CAGE code, identify business size (large business or a small business), and if applicable, a statement regarding small business status (including small business type(s)/certifications(s) such as SDB, 8(a), HUBZone, SDVOSB, WOSB, etc.) and the corresponding NAICS code. Identify whether your firm is interested in competing for this requirement as a prime contractor or not. Identify subcontracting, joint ventures or teaming arrangement that will be pursued, if any. Information in sufficient detail regarding previous experience (indicate whether as a prime contractor or subcontractor) on similar requirements (include size, scope, complexity, timeframe, government or commercial), pertinent certifications, etc., that will facilitate making a capability determination. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. Responses must send to Benford.Brundage@va.gov and received by 11:00am EST on 10 Sep 2019. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. However, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement and submit quotations no later than 11:00am EST on 10 Sep 2019 to: Benford.Brundage@va.gov. Responses received may be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Disclaimer and Important Notes: This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract or otherwise pay for the information provided in response. The Government reserves the right to use information provided by respondents for any purpose deemed necessary and legally appropriate. Any organization responding to this notice should ensure that its response is complete and sufficiently detailed to allow the Government to determine the organization's qualifications to perform the work. Respondents are advised that the Government is under no obligation to acknowledge receipt of the information received or provide feedback to respondents with respect to any information submitted. After a review of the responses received, a pre-solicitation synopsis and solicitation may be published on GSA eBUY or FBO. However, responses to this notice will not be considered adequate responses to a solicitation. Determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
