- RFI modified to add a submission channel and to advise submitters that more than one response may be submitted. The Assured Positioning, Navigation and Timing Cross Functional Team (APNT CFT) is conducting market research in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10. The APNT CFT is looking for companies to present Information Papers for Inertial Measurement Units (IMU)/Inertial Navigation Units (INU) and associated Inertial Navigation System (INS) technologies. This market research will examine developmental concepts, emerging concepts, current concepts, and materiel capabilities in IMU/INU/INS technologies to identify promising innovative systems or techniques. The purpose of the market research is to identify potential technologies that can provide air, ground, or space based IMU/INU/INS capabilities that will enhance or revolutionize beyond the current systems available. The Government plans to take inputs from industry, assess the technologies, and utilize this research to shape future requirements. Other applicable service and product codes: B, D, K, Q, 10, 12, 13, 14, 16, 18, 19, 20, 23, 25, 58, 59, 65, 66, 69, 70. ****UPDATE**** Submissions may be made by email as stated in the RFI, or to the DoD Safe Site located at https://safe.apps.mil. If the submitter does not possess a DoD Common Access Card (CAC), please request the PoCs on this announcement via email to send a submission invite before files can be uploaded. Once the submitter sends the information, the submitter must contact the PoCs again to verify receipt. To ensure we get the best information available on this subject, we welcome multiple submissions from one corporation provided that the subject technologies are distinctly different from one another. We ask that similar technologies be consolidated together.
