Description
Notice of Intent for Sole Source REFERENCE SOLICITATION # W81K00-19-R-0028 The Regional Health Contracting Office - Central intends to award a sole source contract to Johns Hopkins University to implement Phase 2 of the Activity and Mobility Promotion (AMP) Program for the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine, Brooke Army Medical Center (BAMC), JBSA Fort Sam Houston, Texas. Phase 1 was awarded to Johns Hopkins University on a competitive basis. Phase 2 Background: The goal of the AMP Program is to implement a culture of activity and mobility for patients while in an acute care or inpatient hospital setting, which would reduce length of stay, decrease readmissions, and improve patient outcomes. Phase 2 Services: - Use of Johns Hopkins patient mobility outcome tools to collect data to build quality improvement processes - Implementation and data analysis to identify institutional barriers to patient mobility - Develop training materials - Project management assistance for the Intensive Care Unit and other areas of BAMC - On-site (at BAMC) workshops to provide training Award will be made on or after 16 September 2019. The NAICS code of this procurement is 611310 and the size standard is $27,500,000.00. This notice is neither a request for quotes nor a solicitation of offers; however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation explaining how they intend to provide the services described above. Any submissions shall be at no cost to the Government. Only submissions that fully describe how they would provide the above services will be considered by the Government for the purposes of competing this requirement.
