- THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) is seeking additional sources for these coveralls in accordance with MIL-DTL-85633D, Coveralls, Flyers, Anti-Exposure, for listing on Qualified Products List (QPL) 85633. MIL-DTL-85633D is available at ASSIST https://quicksearch.dla.mil/ and may be obtained by using the "Document Number" search box and entering 85633. The coveralls are used for continuous wear by aircrew members on flights over water. The coveralls protect the wearer from exposure to water, wind, spray, rain and hypothermia. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION. With respect to products requiring qualification, awards will be made only for products that are, at the time of award of contract, qualified for inclusion in QPL-85633 whether or not such products have actually been so listed by that date. Contractors should be aware of requirements specified in MIL-DTL-85633D. Manufacturers should arrange to have the products that they propose to offer to the Federal Government tested for qualification in order that they may be eligible to be awarded contracts or orders for the products covered by MIL-DTL-85633D. Guidance for manufacturers and their authorized distributors who wish to submit products for NAWCAD qualification is available from the Provisions Governing Qualification (SD-6). The SD-6 is available at ASSIST, https://quicksearch.dla.mil/ (enter SD-6 in the “Document ID” search box). Additional information and questions pertaining to qualification of products to MIL-DTL-85633D may be obtained from rose.webster@navy.mil.
