Description

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) plans a follow-on procurement to the National Airspace System (NAS) Integration Support Contract (NISC III), herein referred to as NISC IV. The NISC IV contract will provide critical support to a wide range of FAA organizations that support the existing NAS, as well as those organizations tasked with the planning, development, integration and implementation of NAS modernization programs. The purpose of this posting is to inform industry of the potential contract opportunity and provide draft copies of certain Sections of and Attachments to the planned SIR, which are attached, for industry review and comment. Interested vendors should respond with comments for consideration by the FAA. The FAA intends to review all responses and consider such responses in finalizing the SIR, which will be posted on a future date, which has not yet been determined. Please be advised that the FAA may take into consideration all, some, or none of the input received in its preparation of the final SIR. This posting is for informational and planning purposes only. The FAA is not seeking or accepting unsolicited proposals. This is not a solicitation. This posting is not a Screening Information Request (SIR) or a Request for Proposal (RFP) of any kind. This posting should not be construed as a commitment of any type by the Government to take or not to take any action. The Government will not reimburse any costs incurred by vendors in responding to this posting. This posting does not restrict the Government as to the ultimate acquisition approach it may take in connection with this requirement. All responses to this posting, as well as questions pertaining to this posting, must be emailed to 9-ajw28-nisc@faa.gov, using the attached response template. No telephone inquiries will be accepted nor will inquiries to other FAA email addresses. Questions must be submitted no later than 5:00 PM (Eastern Daylight Savings Time) on September 19, 2019. Responses (comments) must be submitted no later than 5:00 PM (Eastern Daylight Savings Time) on October 3, 2019.
