This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. a. Project Title: Powered Straddle Stacker Forklift b. Description: VA Central California Health Care System is seeking a contractor to provide a Powered Straddle Stacker Forklift to support operations in their Emergency Management warehouse. c. Project Location: VA Central California Health Care System, 2615 E. Clinton Ave. Fresno, CA 93703 d. Solicitation Type - Number: Request for Quotes (RFQ) - 36C26219Q1297. e. Set Aside: This solicitation is 100% set aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses IAW Public Law 109-461, 38 USC Section 8127 f. Applicable NAICS code: 333924, Industrial Truck, Tractor, Trailer and Stacker Machinery Manufacturing g. Small Business Size Standard: 750 Employees h. Type of Contract: Firm Fixed Price i. Period of Performance: 30 days after award 2. VA Central California Health Care System is seeking to procure a Big Joe Model PDS25-130 Electric Powered Straddle Stacker Forklift or equivalent 2.1. Salient Characteristics. Essential/significant physical, functional, or performance characteristics. 2.1.a. 2,500 lbs lifting capacity at 24" load center 2.1.b. Adjustable Straddle legs I.D. 38 -50 2.1.c, Must be able to lift to 12-foot height 2.1.d. Must have turning radius to be able to operate in 83 aisles 2.1.e. Battery Pack: 224 A/H Maintenance Free 2.1.f. Onboard Charge: Input 110 VAC auto 2.1.g. Poly Wheels 2.1.h. Must be compatible with the narrow aisle space in the warehouse, and standard warehouse racking system 2.1.i. Quoted price will include any shipping charges 3.
