Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to solicit and negotiate a Sole Source, Firm-Fixed-Price Purchase Order with one Small Business (SB) source, Translogic Corp. d/b/a Swisslog Healthcare. The procurement is for the conversion of the pneumatic tube system from a serial-based system to ethernet and migrates the control tower to a virtual server. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 541519. Translogic Corp. d/b/a Swisslog Healthcare is the only vendor able to service or provide upgrades or support for this Swisslog system. The anticipated date of award is 09/13/2019. This requirement is for: Department of Veterans Affairs Boise VA Medical Center 500 West Fort Street. Boise, ID 83702 This notice satisfies the requirement at FAR 5.201(b)(1), to publicize the proposed contract action. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation will be made available. Any responses received will only be considered for the purposes of determining the market place for future procurements. The Government will not pay for information submitted. This will be the only notice of the Government's intent to solicit, negotiate, and award to one source to satisfy this requirement.
