NO TELEPHONE REQUESTS WILL BE ACCEPTED. This is a Sources Sought. This announcement is in support of market research to determine the feasibility of a competitive acquisition and to identify potential sources that can provide the following assets for a potential 5 year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract: NOMENCLATURE: TOOL KIT, HYDRAULIC REPAIRMAN, ACFT MAINTENANCE (HYTK) NSN: 5180-01-628-2370 P/N: CATSHYTK14 ESTIMATED QTY: 20 each Minimum - 100 each Maximum The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 332216 and the size standard is 500 employees. F.O.B. Origin. Required delivery is 60 days after contract award (DACA). This item is restricted to IDSC Holdings LLC Doing Business As (DBA) Snap-On Industrial (CAGE Code: 55719) because the data needed to acquire this part competitively is not physically available, it cannot be obtained economically, nor is it possible to draft adequate specifications or any other adequate, economical description of the material for a competitive solicitation. All offerors must meet prequalification requirements in order to be eligible for award. All prospective manufacturers, or distributors, seeking to compete for solicitation for Aviation and Missile Command (AMCOM) Spares, for any restricted source parts, are required to be an AMCOM approved source. To obtain approval, vendors must submit a SAR package, for review and approval, to the Engineering Directorate, Quality Engineering Division. Source approval must be obtained prior to being considered for contract award. Approvals are made on an individual part number basis for a specific manufacturing location. Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future solicitations by following the SAR submission guidance provided on the website http://amcomdmz.redstone.army.mil/casl_cmo_samsar. Questions concerning SAR submissions can be directed to the ED SAR Team at EDSAR@amrdec.army.mil or call the SAR Team at 256-313-8978, 256-313-0341, or 256-313-8994. In addition no Technical Data Packages will be mailed out all offerors shall be registered in FBO and Joint Certification Program (JCP) certified to obtain the Technical Data Package for this requirement. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the Agency. This announcement is for information and planning purposes only and should not be construed as a commitment by the Government for any purpose. This announcement does not constitute a RFP. A synopsis will be issued at a later date for this requirement. Requests for a solicitation will not receive a response. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement and any follow-up information requested. No basis for claim against the Government shall arise as a result of a response to this announcement or Government use of any information provided. This announcement does not restrict the Government to an ultimate acquisition strategy. The Government reserves the right to consider acquisition strategies as deemed appropriate. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the Agency. The closing date annotated is an estimate date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release for solicitation; however, the solicitation will not close prior to the date stated above.
