- U.S. GOVERNMENT General Services Administration (GSA) seeks to lease the following space: State: Maryland City: Aberdeen Delineated Area: Beginning at Route 40 (with Susquehanna River to the east), follow Route 40 in a southwestern direction until it “intersects” with Route 7 / Old Philadelphia Road, follow Route 7 / Old Philadelphia Road in an eastern direction until it intersects with Route 159, follow Route 159 in a southern direction until it intersects with E. Michaelsville Road, follow E. Michaelsville Road in a southeastern direction until it intersects with Chelsea Road, follow Chelsea Road in a southern direction until it intersects with E. Michaelsville Road, follow E. Michaelsville Road in a southeastern direction until it intersects with Test Highway, follow Test Highway in a southern direction until it intersects with Palmer Road, follow Palmer Road in a southeastern direction until it intersects with Michaelsville Road, follow Michaelsville Road in a northeastern direction until it intersects with Boothby Hill Avenue, follow Boothby Hill Avenue in a northern direction until it intersects with Civil Road, follow Civil Road in an eastern direction until it intersects with Bomb Proof Road, follow Bomb Proof Road in a northern direction, briefly becoming Plum Point Loop W, follow Plum Point Loop W in an eastern direction until it intersects with Ground Road, follow Ground Road in a northern direction until it intersects with Plum Point Lane, follow Plum Point Lane in a northern direction until it meets the Chesapeake Bay, which shall serve as the eastern boundary Minimum Sq. Ft. (ABOA): 12,214 Maximum Sq. Ft. (ABOA): 11,775 Space Type: Office Full Term: 15 years Firm Term: 13 years Additional Requirements: Offered space must be contiguous on one floor Action : Choose whether or not a fully serviced lease is required. Also choose 100 year floodplain unless requirement is identified by agency as a critical action. Offered space must meet Government requirements for fire safety, accessibility, s eismic, and sustainability standards per the terms of the Lease. A fully serviced lease is required. Offered space shall not be in the 100 year flood plain. Action : for fbo postings, insert the following language only for potential sole source succeeding lease actions. Delete for procurement summary page. do not use for full and open procurements. note that any figures used for a cost benefit analysis (CBA) must be supportable. Consideration of “non-productive agency downtime” in a CBA should be rare. The U.S. Government currently occupies office and related space in a building under a lease in Aberdeen MD, that will be expiring. The Government is considering alternative space if economically advantageous. In making this determination, the Government will consider, among other things, the availability of alternative space that potentially can satisfy the Government’s requirements, as well as costs likely to be incurred through relocating, such as physical move costs, replication of tenant improvements and telecommunication infrastructure, and non-productive agency downtime.
