- NASA/Johnson Space Center plans to issue a Request for Quote for the following Commercial Services: Just in Time Office Suppplies. A Request for Quotation will be issued on this Federal Business Opportunities website on or about October 2019 for Just in Time Office Supplies. This announcement is a total set-aside for 100% Small Business. NASA is seeking a qualified Contractor to provide and deliver commercially available AbilityOne office supplies. Desk-top delivery of office supplies shall be delivered by the end of the next business day for orders placed prior to 3 p.m. Central Standard Time (CST). All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency. NASA Clause 1852.215-84, Ombudsman, is applicable. The Center Ombudsman for this acquisition can be found at http://prod.nais.nasa.gov/pub/pub_library/Omb.html This project contains Items as listed below: The contractor shall provide all resources to perform the purchase and delivery of Center-wide civil servant office supplies. The contractor shall be authorized to distribute AbilityOne products by the Committee for Purchase from People Who are Blind or Severely Disabled (Committee) and requirements defined in Executive Orders 13423 and 13514. The contractor shall post the AbilityOne Procurement List (PL) of office supplies on the contractor's electronic ordering system. The PL of office supplies shall include items such as:  Binding and filing  Cases and portfolios  Mailing and shipping supplies  Office essentials (clips, notes, books, tape, etc.)  Optical disks and CD-ROMs  Ergonomic products (wrist and foot rests)  Clocks  Paper (copier, computer, labels, etc.) - minimum recycled content compliant  Ink/toner cartridges (new or remanufactured, when available)  Visual communications and meeting aids  Writing instruments (pens, pencils, markers) This project is set-aside for Small Disadvantaged Business firms (SDB). The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) for this procurement is 424120 Stationery, Office Supplies Merchant Wholesalers and size standard 150 employees applies. The government intends to award a Firm Fixed Price Contract in September 2019. This notice is for informational purposes only and is not a request for submission of offers. No other information regarding scope, dates, etc is available until issuance of the solicitation on http://www.fbo.gov. As authorized by FAR 5.102, solicitation dissemination is limited to electronic medium, and NASA will provide no hard copies. The solicitation, consisting of various solicitation documents, specifications, forms, and drawings will only be available for download at no charge at the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website ( http://www.fbo.gov ) on or about July 26, 2019, with a due date to be specified in the Solicitation. Further details of all dates and events, including site visit and proposal due date, will be available in the solicitation. No other site shall be used to obtain these documents.
