Description

Regional Procurement Office (RPO) - East intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Nexus, LLC, 745 Atlantic Ave, 8th Floor, Boston, MA 02111, to purchase a Nexus 3D CX-Fluo 4Ch Configuration (DAPI-FITCTRITC/Cy5) and OKO on-stage incubation - Manual system for the Iowa City VA Health Care System. Live imaging microscopy will critically improve the ability to understand the interaction of stem cells with the host tissue. Their studies in glaucoma and traumatic brain injury suggest that stem cells used to treat these conditions fuse with host cells. This instrument will help them understand how this process can be exploited to benefit Veterans with these conditions. Telephone responses will not be accepted. Upon receipt of the interested parties' notification, the Contracting Officer will determine whether to conduct a competitive procurement or proceed with sole source negotiations.
