Description

The VA Boston Healthcare System (VABHS) intends to award on a sole source basis pursuant to FAR 16.505 with Siemens. This requirement will include the maintenance and service program for the Siemens Equipment throughout VISN 1. Salient Characteristics Vendor will provide the following: a. Remote Services Secure remote connection between Siemens Healthcare and facilities equipment, enabling real-time monitoring and faster repairs. b. Evolve System obsolescence protection through continuous hardware and software updating and upgrading c. Access to tools and support by an OEM certified employee d. Guardian Program Remote, real-time system monitoring program designed to predict, detect, and prevent problems before they affect workflow This Notice of Intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals. Parties may identify their interest, accompanied by supporting literature, to the Contracting Officer no later than September 9, 2019, Responses should be sent to Harold.Nice@va.gov. Information received will be for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. The determination to conduct a competitive procurement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Contracting Officer.
