This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested, and a written solicitation document will not be issued. This combined synopsis/solicitation is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2019-05 (effective 08/13/2019). The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 238220, with a small business size standard of $15 million. This procurement is a 100% Total Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Set-Aside and all eligible quoters are encouraged to submit quotes. To be eligible for award quoter must be verified in the Vendor Information Pages (VIP) (https://www.vip.vetbiz.gov ) at the time of the close of the RFQ and at the time of award and be registered in the System Award Management (SAM) at the time of award. Quotes will be considered non-responsive and rejected if the Contracting Officer is not able to verify and view contractor registrations. The VHA Regional Procurement Office, Network Contracting Office-16 intends to award a single firm fixed price contract to remove and replace storm drain piping located in room BB-300 at the east end of the service tunnel at building 100, at the Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center (MEDVAMC) in Houston, Texas. Quote shall be valid 120 days from the close of this RFQ. A site visit will be held on Thursday, September 5, 2019 at 10:30a.m. (Central Time). Attendance is not required but is strongly encouraged and expected to inspect all sites where services are to be performed and to satisfy themselves regarding all general and local conditions that may affect the cost of contract performance.
