Interested companies are encouraged to respond anytime during the sources sought open period. Responses shall include a capability statement, submitted by the contractor, which should address as many of the General Requirements listed below as the contractor has experience with providing. The scope of this notice is intended to cover the US Navy 6th Fleet Area of Responsibility (AOR). The 6th Fleet AOR encompasses approximately half of the Atlantic Ocean, from the North Pole to Antarctica; as well as the Adriatic, Baltic, Barents, Black, Caspian, Mediterranean and North Seas. This notice is issued for market research purposes only and the submission of a capability statement by the contractor does not guarantee the receipt of an award from the US Navy nor does it represent any guarantee of future work requirements from the US Navy. This notice does not commit the U.S. Government to pay any costs incurred in preparation of any submission to this notice. The following is a list of general requirements and or services that are of interest: The government is seeking capability information from industry, specifically ship repair vendors that can determine the probability that vendors can offer a priced proposal applicable to a hospitality requirement that is executed simultaneously with a required US Navy ship repair project at the vendor s facility. The hospitality requirement would include items, not limited to: a) 20 each work control spaces with basic furniture; desks, chairs, lighting, HVAC, etc. b) Work spaces that can be converted into medical spaces; general c) Religious space d) Classrooms for training e) Messing/galley on site breakfast/lunch/dinner provided for crew f) Computer work stations g) Exercise facility or access to nearby gym h) Transportation to and from ship and facility, 0600 2400 i) Rental cars j) On site controlled access Hospitality accommodations are for a crew of approximately 200 personnel including military and civilian mariners. Example solutions could include hotels, owned or leased berthing barge, lodging/cruise vessel, or other ashore facility available. Preference is for hospitality arrangements on vendor s facility or very near the facility, proximity and the most requirements met could be considered a value proposition evaluated in a trade off source selection methodology.
