Description
Notice of Intent to award a sole source requirement to Adair Ranges, Inc. (345 W. 32nd Street Yuma, AZ 85364-8107) for firing range facility usage. The U.S. Customs and Border Protection. U.S. Border Patrol, Yuma Sector has a requirement to secure firing range services for the full training and qualification needs of mission personnel. Given the unique requirements of the range to be provided, and the lack of existing facilities that can meet, or be upgraded to meet, the capabilities needed for this service, this action is limited to a single available contract provider. Further reasons detailing why this requriement has been determined to be reasonably available from only one source are included in the attached justification and approval. This proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authroity of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i). This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, interested parties may identify thier interest and capability to respond to the requirement by Friday, September 6, 2019 at 6:00pm Mountain Time. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Any vendors who believe they can provide the range services required can provide proof of ability to meet the requirements should email thier companies capabilities information to the attention of Contract Specialist Matthew Redman by Friday September 6, 2019 at 6:00pm Mountain Time. Only email submissions sent to the following address will be accepted: Matthew.P.Redman@cbp.dhs.gov. Information submitted should fully support the company's capability ot provide the required firing service to meet the requirements of the USBP Yuma Sector.
