- Dear Industry Partners: Thank you to those companies who attended DHS' Human Resources Information Technology (HRIT) Strategic Improvement Opportunities (SIOs) Industry Day on August 23, 2019. Attached for your reference is the slide presentation that was briefed at the Industry Day. DHS values all of our engagement with Industry thus far. Once received, DHS will review all responses to this RFI and at its discretion, may invite respondents for a future one-on-one engagement meeting to elaborate on information provided in their written response. The future one-on-one engagement meetings are anticipated to be scheduled in September and/or October 2019. In addition, we anticipate consolidating all feedback received from the industry engagements and RFI responses and incorporating industry suggestions into our strategy moving forward. ********************************************************* The Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Office of the Chief Human Capital Officer (OCHCO) is updating current and target state Human Capital processes, data standards, and supporting business systems for the entire DHS enterprise (i.e., all DHS Components), referred to as the Human Capital Segment Architecture (HCSA) Blueprint. Comparing and contrasting those blueprints allows DHS OCHCO to identify gaps in HR capabilities and prioritize Strategic Improvement Opportunities (SIOs) to close those gaps for the DHS enterprise. As a result, OCHCO is seeking market research information to develop an acquisition strategy to acquire services for several of its strategic initiatives as described in the attachments (OCHCO HRIT SIO - Request for Information_Industry Day Notice_Final and Attachments I-X). The intended outcome of this RFI/Draft SOW release, planned Industry Day, and future one-on-one engagements is thorough input from industry, offered in an open manner, to aid in DHS' development of sound programmatic requirements as well as preparation of its requirements package. As outlined in the attached Request for Information (RFI) / Industry Day Notice, DHS will host an Industry Day for interested industry partners on Friday, August 23, 2019 from 9:00am to 4:00pm. In addition, responses to the RFI are requested by August 30, 2019 at 4:00pm. **Industry Day Registration Instructions have been added to the notice.
