- This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the information in FAR Subpart 12.6, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures found at FAR 13, as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE. This combined synopsis/solicitation SHALL be posted on both FEDBIZOPPS and NECO (https://www.neco.navy.mil/). The RFQ number is N0018919Q0471. This solicitation documents and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 2019-05 and DFARS Publication Notice 20190809. It is the responsibility of the contractor to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all bids, proposals, or quotations received by the closing response date will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The NAICS code is 332710 and the Small Business Standard is 500 employees. The Small Business Office concurs with the set-aside determination. The NAVSUP FLCN requests responses from qualified sources capable of providing: ITEM NO SUPPLIES/SERVICES QUANTITY UNIT UNIT PRICE AMOUNT 0001 20 EA LIFT FAN SHAFTS REFURB FFP Work to be completed IAW the Performance of Work Statement. Price includes return shipping of items to ACU-4 PERFORMANCE OF WORK STATEMENT PURPOSE: This contract is to procure machining services to repair lift fan shoulder shafts PN 5749555-015 referenced in drawing 5749555 and Tech Manuals S9248-AA-TMM-039/S9200-A6-TMM-039 that support the lift impeller assembly on LCAC. Scope Shaft repair is required to continue with assembly of shift fan sections. Performance Objectives Repair and machine 20 ea shafts to full specifications based on Drawing 5749555 and shipped FOB to ACU4. Delivery Address: Assault Craft Unit Four 2155 11th Street Virginia Beach, VA 23459-3018 Supply Officer: 757-462-8043 NET AMT Delivery is 40 days ARO; Delivery Location is Assault Craft Unit Four, 2155 11th Street, Virginia Beach, VA 3459-3018. Responsibility and Inspection: unless otherwise specified in the order, the supplier is responsible for the performance of all inspection requirements and quality control. Questions must be submitted in writing by email NO LATER THAN 3:00 PM EST TUESDAY 27 AUGUST 2019. All questions will be answered in writing and posted with the solicitation.
