Description

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention intends to award a sole source firm fixed price purchase order to InterOperability Bidco, Inc dba Rhapsody for the procurement of Rhapsody software license maintenance and (4) additional Option years. Rhapsody securely provides system connectivity, routing, message persistence, transformation and reliable delivery of electronic data between partners. The Orion Health Rhapsody software is compatible and is proven to interoperate and seamlessly integrate with the CDC Enterprise Laboratory Information System (ELIMS). Orion Health intimate knowledge and expertise in Public Health uniquely qualifies them to provide licenses, technical support, software components, modification and enhancements to the Rhapsody product. The product offers unique capabilities such as robust conversion/migration utilities built in (Intelligent Mapper, Compare Filters, Adapt to Message utility), All relevant healthcare Message Definition libraries included, FHIR functionality built in, Graphical interface for drag-ndrop interface and 24/7 customer service. This contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b) (SAP) and 41 U.S.C. 3304(a)(1).
