Description
The purpose for this source sought notice is to locate interested companies that can furnish the REQUIREMENTS listed in the PWS that is attached. Offeror's capability to meet this requirement including any current contracts with more than 2 years of Period of Performance (Civilian or Government) to include meeting the below listed accreditations or similar standards, facility description, capabilities, and certifications. Responses must show clear and convincing evidence that your company and its employees have the capabilities, training, and qualifications to provide this service to be considered as a source. Vendors interested in providing an offer will have to respond to a separate solicitation announcement STATEMENT OF WORK Laundry Equipment Maintenance Training Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Healthcare System of the Ozarks Fayetteville, Arkansas April 30, 2019 GENERAL These specifications describe the requirement for on-site, hands-on training and education over the laundry equipment specified in the statement of work. Training must include trouble-shooting, repair processes, and preventative maintenance for all laundry equipment specified. Contractor must provide proof of technical experience and travel to the site for a period of five working days, not to include travel days, to conduct training with on-site Mechanical Technician. SCOPE OF WORK The contractor shall provide complete on-site maintenance training at the Fayetteville Arkansas VHSO laundry facility, located at 1100 N. College Ave, Fayetteville, AR 72703. On-site training will be performed for a period of eight (8) hours per day, over 5 consecutive days, to equate to 40 hours of hands on training, not counting travel days. Training start time will be based on the availability of the equipment, as this is an operating laundry plant. Technician must be flexible with schedule and willing to work various hours to accomplish all training requirements. Training will be required for all textile equipment located in the laundry facility. The facility will provide the equipment manuals for the training. The maintenance and training service of this contract shall consist of, but is not limited to completion of the following: Trouble-shooting processes for each piece of equipment in the laundry facility. Repair maintenance training for each piece of equipment, to include known and frequent problems. DELIVERABLES Assist the mechanic in establishment of an electronic preventative maintenance schedule for all textile processing equipment (daily/weekly/monthly/semi-annual/annual). Contractor shall provide training sheets with employee signature showing the training on each piece of equipment trained on. A written report to the Chief, Environmental Management Service and Laundry Textile Care Manager out lining all accomplishments for the site visit is required.
