Presolicitation Notice Date Submitted: 20 August 2019 OC-ALC/PKR DIR CONTRACTING/PROPULSION 3001 STAFF DR STE 1AC198A TINKER AIR FORCE BASE OK 73145-3032. Repair of Motional Transducer, SPEC SOL FA8117-19-R-0006. Item 0001. NSN: 6695011571531JY, P/N: L3400120-011 Item Description: The item contains aluminum, connector, tubes, clevises, lock-bolts, collars. Applicable to: B1B Aircraft. Destination: Tinker AFB, OK Delivery: 2 each every 60 days ARO or assets. Sources must be qualified prior to being considered for award. The solicitation will contain instructions for obtaining further information on this requirement. The approximate issue date of the solicitation will be 03 September 2019. The approximate response date of the solicitation will be 03 October 2019. The anticipated award date will be 24 February 2020. No telephone requests. Hardcopies of the solicitation will not be sent from this office. The solicitation will be available for download only at www.eps.com. Award will be made only if the offeror, the product/service, or the manufacturer meets qualification requirements at the time of award in accordance with FAR clause 52.209-1. The solicitation will identify the office where additional information can be obtained concerning qualification requirements. Note: While price will be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price and past performance factors as detailed in the solicitation. Note: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential Offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
