Description
The Great Lakes Acquisition Center (GLAC) intends to pursue a sole source contract with VA certified Service Disabled Veteran owned small business (SDVOSB) Veterans Healthcare Supply Solutions, In Accordance with (IAW) 38 USC 8127(b) and VAAR 819.7007 (VETERANS FIRST). The Madison, Wisconsin VA Hospital has existing, owned Orthopedic Surgical equipment (of the same manufacturer) and seeks standardization of equipment as they expand their department. The following (brand name only) equipment is required; all are quantity of 1 (one): Mizuho 5803 Advanced Control I-Base Mizuho 5855 MTS Orthopedic Trauma Top Mizuho 5855-865 OTS Traction Boot X-Large (pr) Mizuho 5859 OTS Orthopedic Equipment Cart This notice of Intent is not a request for quotes. No solicitation documents are available and telephone requests will not be honored. However, if a firm believes it can meet the requirements it must furnish information (to include an authorized distributor letter) to the Contract Specialist by 12:00 PM (CST) 8/22/2019. This procurement is for new OEM medical equipment.   No remanufactures or gray market items will be acceptable. Vendor shall be an OEM, authorized dealer, authorized distributor or authorized reseller for the proposed medical equipment, verified by an authorization letter or other documents from the OEM, such that the OEM s warranty and service are provided and maintained by the OEM.   All software licensing, warranty and service associated with the medical equipment shall be in accordance with the OEM terms and conditions. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, the Contracting Officer will proceed with the sole source award with Veterans Healthcare Supply Solutions.
