Description

Under the authority 10 U.S.C.2304(c)(1) as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1, Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PHNSY & IMF), Honolulu HI 96860, intends to award a sole source FFP contract to Thermo Electron North America LLC, for annual preventive maintenance services for Thermo Fisher Scientific Nicolet Fourier Transform Infrared Spectrometer (FTIR) system and Infrared (IR) microscope owned by PHNSY. The Product Service Code is J066, NAICS is 811219. Thermo Electron North America owns the proprietary drawings and is experienced in performing the appropriate procedures. Thermo Electron North America has been found to be the only vendor that has performed this particular service and is able to meet PHNSY's requirement using the appropriate procedures. This award will include a base year plus four options years. The anticipated award date is 9/25/2019. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (16-AUG-2019); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
