Description

This is a sources sought (market research) notice. This is not a Request for Quote (RFQ) or a Request for Proposal (RFP). This annoucement is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be taken as a commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or award a contract. The following services: This is a non-personal services to clean, inspect, assessment, and debris removal of 19 water storage tanks on various U.S. Army Installations on Oahu, Hawaii. The contractor shall perform all work in accordance with Occupational, Safety, and Health Administration (OSHA), Federal, State, and County regulations and commercial standards. Hours of Operation Monday through Friday between the hours 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. except U.S. Federal Holidays. Special Requirements: Divers must meet the following regulations and standards. a. OSHA Commercial Diving Regulations: 29 CFR 1910.401-1910.441 b. ADC Standard 12: Commercial Diving in Potable Water Facilities c. ANSI-AWWA C652-02: Conducting Underwater Inspections of Potable Water Storage Facilities. d. NFPA 25 Section 9.2: Water Storage Tanks - Inspection e. Association of Commercial Diving Educators (ACDE) Certification Contractor shall document via pictures/video before and after interior conditions of the water storage tanks. The purpose of this sources sought notice is to determine interest and capability of potential qualified firms relative to the North American Industry Classification (NAICS) code 562998 - All Other Miscellaneou Waste Management Services. SUBMISSION REQUIREMENT FOR RESPONSES TO THIS SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE: 1. Your intent to submit a quote for this requirement when it is formally advertised; 2. Name of firm with address, phone number, e-mail address, and point of contact; 3. Cage code and DUNs number; 4. Size of firm including category of small business, such as 8(a), Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB), HUBZone, Small Disadvantaged Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), etc.; and 5. Statement of Capability stating your skills, experience, and knowledge required to perform the specific type of work. Firms responding to this sources sought notice, who fail to provide all of the required information requested, will not be used to assist the Government in the acquisition decision, which is the intent of this sources sought notice.
