This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested, and a written solicitation document will not be issued. This solicitation is a request for quote (RFQ) and will be posted on NASA SWEP. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2019-02, 05/06/2019. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 541519, with a small business size standard of $27.5 Million. The Network Contracting Office (NCO) 9 is seeking to purchase Lynx computer network software upgrades and support maintenance for Tennessee Valley Healthcare System (TVHS) Nashville and York Campuses as well as many TVHS CBOCS VA Medical Center. All questions regarding this RFQ must be in writing and may be sent by e mail to tara.hammrich@va.gov. Questions must be received no later than Aug 14, 2019 at 2:00 PM CST. No further questions will be accepted after that date and time. You are reminded that representatives from your company SHALL NOT contact any Tennessee Valley Healthcare System (TVHS) employees to discuss this RFQ during this RFQ process. All questions and concerns regarding this RFQ shall be directed to the Contracting Officer. STATEMENT OF WORK Lynx Server Upgrades and Maintenance STATEMENT OF WORK PART A GENERAL INFORMATION 1A. INTRODUCTION: Tennessee Valley Healthcare System (TVHS) has a Lynx Computer networked system which connects and serves its Nashville and York campuses as well as many TVHS Community-Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOC). The contractor is to provide software upgrades and software maintenance on the Lynx Servers. The contractor will provide one (1) LYNXS-SSD-UP (new Lynx servers) at each of the following locations: VA Medical Center 1310 24th Ave South, Nashville, TN 37212 York Campus, 3400 Lebanon Pike BLDG 8, Murfreesboro, TN 37129 1320 Decatur Pike, Athens, TN 37030 25 Von Karman Rd, Arnold AFB, Tullahoma, TN 37289 VA Compensation and Pension office, #2 International Plaza, Nashville, TN 37218 1818 Albion Street, Nashville, TN 37208 Women s Clinic -1919 Charlotte Avenue, Nashville, TN 2A. BACKGROUND: a. TVHS has a Lynx Computer networked system which connects and serves its Nashville Medical Center, Charlotte Clinic, Women s Clinic, Albion (Meharry) Clinic, Clarksville Clinic, Alvin C. York Medical Center, Athens, Tullahoma, C&P clinics. 3A. REQUIREMENTS: a. The equipment will be maintained in accordance with factory specifications. b. The following cost and service fees are associated with this Maintenance Option. Option covers the following nine (9) TVHS facilities: Nashville Campus, Charlotte Clinic, Women s Clinic, Albion (Meharry) Clinic, Clarksville Clinic, Murfreesboro Campus, Athens clinic, Tullahoma, C&P clinic. c. Software Support Agreement s (SSA) This contract will provide and supply all necessary SSA license s and agreement s which may be necessary to provide the VA TVHS with system programming, software updates, system troubleshooting and general software and maintenance.
