Description
SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE – ONLY! This notice DOES NOT constitute a Request for Proposal, nor does it represent any commitment by the Government. The purpose of this Sources Sought notice is to determine availability and capability of qualified Small Businesses, Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses, Woman Owned Small Businesses. Responses to this notice will be used for informational and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation or commitment by the Government. This notice is intended strictly for market research. This procurement will be advertised under North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code 236220 - Commercial and Institutional Building Construction. The small business size standard for NAICS code 236220 is $36.5M. Project Description and Approach The General Services Administration (GSA) intends to award a firm fixed-price contract for the purpose of relocating an existing PA system from the basement of Richard B. Russell Courthouse in Atlanta, GA up to the 16th floor command center. Any interruption of the existing office operations or daily operation must be minimized. Work may be done during normal work schedule or after-hours. Care should be taken to protect all non-affected areas. Work site shall be kept clean and neat at all times. The contractor is expected to be sufficiently knowledgeable is this type installation to complete the scope of work in a manner that will result in the intended functional product. Materials shall be supplied consistent with, or exceeding, the quality of existing components and shall be considered acceptable replacements by a factory certified equipment representative. Refurbished equipment meeting these standards is specifically allowed. The Disclosure of the magnitude of construction for this project is Less than $25,000. Responses Response should be emailed to tyrone.mcclain@gsa.gov not later than August 14, 2019 including a one page Capability Statement. Each response will be reviewed by the Contracting Officer for the purpose of determining whether a reasonable expectation of obtaining a sufficient number of offers from qualified and responsible small business concerns exist. All information furnished to the Government in response to this notice will be used for review purposes only and is not submitted as a proposal or quote.
