Description

On August 5th, 2019, a pre-bid/pre-proposal conference was held. Attending the conference was: Doug Casey and Brock Fish - Pointe Companies Cliff Kinser - Al & Riley's AC The following questions were asked at the conference for clarification, and are hereby clarified in this amendment: 1. The brand of pump mentioned is Bell and Gossett. Is the pump replacement brand specific or was this reference noting the current brand of pump installed? The pump replacement is "like for like" (Bell & Gossett). 2. Couplings - should they be stainless or reinforced rubber like the current set-up with collar? The expasion joints are to be braided stainless (referenced in the SOW). 3. Who is responsible for replacing the chiller fluid? If the vendor, what is used for chiller fluid and how much would need to be replaced? The government will replace the loop chemicals. Approximately one to two gallons are expected to be lost during the pump change out. The respond by date for this solicitation is extended to 13 August at 1600/ 4:00 pm MST to allow for submissions of proposals based on the responses to the clarifications given. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (06-AUG-2019); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
