- Description
- To provide hazardous waste and other regulated waste management and release support and Aqueous Film Forming Foam (AFFF) control, removal and disposal from installed systems and mobile equipment. Waste management support will include the inventory of waste on-site, preparation of waste profiles, waste characterization (including sampling, analysis, and data interpretation), packaging of waste into Department of Transportation (DOT) approved containers, disposal of waste at an authorized disposal or recycling facility, clean-up of waste releases, and preparation of final reports. AFFF removal and disposal will include collection of required field samples and laboratory analysis, extraction of AFFF from fixed systems and mobile equipment, replenishment of AFFF systems with MILSPEC compliant AFFF concentrate, cleaning/rinsing of AFFF equipment and systems, and proper disposal of AFFF concentrates and rinsates.
