Unrestricted Small Business Size Standard: 750 CLIN: 0001 NSN: 5945-01-053-3279 Item Name: Relay, Electromagnet AMC/AMSC: 1C ADQ: 251 Unit of Measure: Each Contract Maximum Value: $1,099,317.00 Shipping: DLA Direct Surge Item: Yes FOB Origin, Inspection and Acceptance at Source Anticipated Award Date: No later than December 26, 2019 The scope of this acquisition is for an Indefinite Quanitity Contract (IQC) under FAR 13.5 Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items. This acquisition is composed of 1 NSN, that supports FSC 5945. This contract is for one base-year with no option years. While DLA Land and Maritime may have drawings/specifications associated with this item, only the sources listed below are currently approved: TE Connectivity Corporation (Cage 00779/74063) Lockheed Martin Corporation (Cage C4925/C4925-1) This part requires engineering source approval by the design control activity in order to maintain the quality of the part. Existing unique design capability, engineering skills, and manufacturing knowledge by the qualified sources require acquisition of the part from the approved sources. The approved sources retain data rigths, manufacturing knowledge, or technical data not economically available to the Government, and the data or knowledge is essential to maintaining the quality of the part. An alternate source must qualify in accordance with the design control activity's procedures, as approved by the cognizant Government enginerring activity. The qualification procedures must be approved by the Government engineering activity having jurisdiction over the part in the intended application.
