This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested, and a written solicitation document will not be issued. This solicitation is a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2019-01, effective 06/05/2019 and VAAR Update 2008-14, effective 06/12/2019. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 337127, Institutional Furniture Manufacturing with a small business size standard of 500 employees. This is a 100% Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) set-aside procurement. The Battle Creek VA Medical Center has a requirement for forty (40) heavy duty, ligature resistant, healthcare grade dayroom lounge chairs. Healthcare grade lounge chairs are required for the dayrooms of two (2) locked inpatient behavioral health units. Chairs shall be used by patients in between classes and at the end of the day while winding down and relaxing. Chairs must support that type of activity. Delivery shall be made to the Battle Creek VA Medical Center Warehouse, 5600 West Dickman Road, Battle Creek, MI 49037. Chairs may be drop shipped to the warehouse. No installation required. All warranty and service associated with the equipment/system shall be in accordance with the OEM terms and conditions. The Contractor shall provide new items ONLY; no remanufactured or "gray market" items. All items must be covered by the manufacturer's warranty. This requirement will be awarded on all-or-none basis. Delivery and installation shall be provided no later than 8-10 weeks after receipt of order/award of contract. Contractor shall deliver items FOB destination.
