Description

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE: Pursuant to FAR Subpart 13.106-1(b)(1), the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS), North East Fisheries Science Center (NEFSC), Protective Species Branch (PSB) located at Woods Hole, Massachusetts intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Ocean Instruments NZ Limited, Warkworth, Auckland New Zealand, under Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR Part 13, and Other Than Full and Open Competition as authorized by FAR 6.303 for underwater acoustic recorders (soundtraps). The anticipated award date is 6 August 2019. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) for this acquisition is 334519 with a business size standard of 500 employees. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (26-JUL-2019); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
